I can help!

If you are reading this page, my guess is that you are searching for a new way of navigating a challenge in your life. You have tried everything that is available to you (or you just don't like your options) and you know you can do more.

For as long as I can remember, I've found myself in roles of problem solving and helping. My career started many years ago in a mental health environment where I saw first hand both the barriers and gifts in the people I served. I often say that they were my most important teachers. They taught me to look beyond what is already established where there is hope that a creative approach might lead to better results. Things don't always have to be as they have always been.

From that point, I sought to help people realize their potential and find ways to navigate their lives to achieve what they are hoping for. Where there is motivation, there is a way- often an unconventional one. What are you hoping for in your life? How can we collaborate to make it a reality?

My training grounds have been schools, hospitals, nursing homes, universities, homes, and growing up in a large active family. My mentors have been children, families, parents, and colleagues. I use creative arts, nature, storytelling, cooking, science, dialogue, adaptive resources, games, and environments as some of my most unique strategies. I follow your lead and we plan your goals together based on what you are motivated to do.

I strongly believe that our work together does not have to take long. I avoid a therapy "lifestyle" and instead encourage my clients to seek therapy when they need help navigating a barrier. Most clients average 6-8 weeks- some more and some less depending on what they are working on. They come back when they want to work on something else or hit another barrier.
